The below information is oriented towards providing details about Old School Farm as a wedding venue, yet much of it is applicable to other types of events.

 

Old School Farm is a casual outdoor dining and event venue. It would not be considered a traditional wedding venue. If you are looking for a relaxed and informal setting in a bucolic environment, then we are a really good match.

What's included? ​

• Friendly, personable staff who desire to provide a wonderful experience for you and your guests.

• Use of first floor of farm house for bridal party prior to the reception.

• Enough tables and chairs to accommodate all guests (up to 130 people).

• Table cloths (green like the house).

• Covered areas for all guests (1 party tent set up adjacent to the pavilion).

• Nice paper plates, cups, and recyclable or reusable cutlery

• Attractive lighting.

• 1 to 2 portable toilets with wash station. Bridal party may use the 1st floor bathroom of  house.

• Use of barn for prep, food service, and hanging out.

• Fire pit & all the wood you need.

• Mint and/or lemon farm well water served from dispensers.

• Stage for band.

• Parking in the pasture across the road from the venue; if someone cannot walk the distance to the event, accommodations will be made.

• Waste disposal, electricity, Wi-Fi for wedding party.

• 10:00 A.M. to 10:00 P.M. rental period.

• Guests may enjoy walking the farm and forests.

• Ceremonies, if taking place at the farm, may take place anywhere on the property with prior approval.

• Set-up and take down (feel free to get involved if you like).

 

What is currently not included?

• Food and Food Service (we are happy to discuss potential options)

• Flowers (ask us about our collaboration with EverJoy)

• Music/Band (we've got ideas and local connections)

• Photography (though we encourage you to check out www.mercifullovephoto.com)

• Staging, props, or other items

Old School Farm can coordinate with preferred local vendors to accommodate your event’s specific needs.

We're developing relationships with local caterers and food purveyors to be able to offer all inclusive packages. We welcome new ideas for offering great food and an amazing experience - let's discuss how we can help you bring your vision to life.
